The new RX 70-20/35 modell proceeds the success story. Besides a new, modern look, the RX 70-20/35 is an attractive package with many improvements:

• Performance update: Optimised use of the hybrid energy.
• Now also with 2 ton load capacity: with load centre at 600.
• Optimised driving characteristics: Extended wheel base for better driving stability.
• New communication interfaces: Radio with USB and Bluetooth hands-free communication.

For more than ten years the RX 70-20/35 has now been the efficiency champion amongst the IC trucks. With a fuel consumption of only 2.5 litres per operating hour, it is the most fuel efficient and eco-friendly truck of its class.

Hybrid technology apart from the proven adjustable displacement pump makes its important contribution to cutting the fuel consumption. Beyond this, the individually adjustable driving and lifting characteristics allow to individually adjust the truck’s behaviour to the requirements of the particular conditions of the application. Smart, efficient and eco-friendly – that is the RX 70.

The RX 70 is perfectly made for fast and agile handling of goods in outdoor operation. Even poor and constantly changing weather conditions are no problem – the driver is fully protected by the spacious cabin.

With its 2.0 to 3.5 tons load capacity the RX 70-20/35 combines power, precision, ergonomics, compactness, safety and environmental responsibility in a unique way:

• Diesel-electric drive with hybrid technology: The combination of an engine with an electric drive motor make the RX 70 the worldwide number one in terms of consumption, consuming only 2.5l/hour (acc. to VDI 2198 new). Besides this, it combines the power of an IC engine with the sensitivity of an electric truck. The outcome: powerful, precise and at the same time energy-efficient work.
• Outstandingly stable driving characteristics: Its very low centre of gravity makes the truck stable by standard – safety by nature.
• Excellent visibility: The winner of the ADAC test thought of every detail: high front screen, low dashboard, free-view mast and large windows in the overhead guard.
• Compact, agile and powerful: Thanks to its short counterweight, its compact design and the direct steering characteristics, the RX 70 moves safely and efficiently – even in tight spaces.
• Blue-Q efficiency mode: Saving up to 10 per cent energy by pressing a button.
